Planning a trip to Manitoulin Island in late August or the first week in September. Will be leaving Penetang and working our way north along the east shore to Killarney. Plan is to go from Killarney through the swing bridge at Little Current along the North Channel route.We intend to arrange itinerant dockage in the Gore Bay area and visit an old friend. Would enjoy trolling the general area for salmon and would really appreciate any first hand suggestions as to locations that might prove worthwhile at the time of year outlined.
