Hi Folks,
Made it out for a couple of days of fishing mid week for a change.. Picked the wrong week to take a few days off.. It was HOT! Fishing was ok, early in the morning and in the evening, as expected. Not much happening after 11AM so, just stayed on shore and went swimming.. Which was nice, water was 78C.. So it was pleasant..
Largemouth Bass were caught shallow, less than 3 fow in lilly pads and scattered weeds. Frogs and texas rigged worms did most of the damage. Smallies were caught in 6-7 fow on the edge of weeds with spinnerbaits. Moving deeper 10-16 fow, I caught crappie and walleye, just jigging and swimming twister tails..
Been a great summer so far for me, actually getting out and doing some fishing.. Really missed this... and great to be back int he saddle..

Nice fish and I like the T shirt. I had one similar for when cars were to close to me on my Harley. Keep fishing as much as you can. The big crappie, walleye, and bass season is almost here.
