Was fishing for walleyes and other random fish few days ago when this one hit my line. Caught it on a nightcrawler. Will be posting the walleye video after few days.

Nice video... I don't know if I would eat the fish out of that river. I have fished all areas of that river 100s of times catch and release. The pollution levels are high in that area. If you want cleaner water but the same river try 30km to 40km north of that spot.

@crappeeeman: You are right. I am a bit weary of eating fish from there as well. Lots of runoffs from farms, towns, etc. So, I eat small portions at a time to minimize the impact. Even then, it is a risk.
@reelinginthebigone: It's a beautiful place. Love fishing there.

It is such a great river for fishing. Down stream about 25 minute drive there is some areas where I have never seen another person fishing. I take a friend there from time to time. The small mouth bass, crappie and walleye are everywhere. And in the deep bends of the river the pike are sometimes a prehistoric size. I have never kept one fish from that river. It is so hard to get there though, miles of walking no trail.
