I was wondering how you kept yourself busy during the summer ! Do you still throw the scoop then paddle over there?good job koke.

I often do the same thing in Georgian Bay.....use a ice rod to play with the sallies.....sometimes get into 4 to 5 pounders and never get those guys in but sure have a lot of fun. Great vid Koke.

Lol. I'm still on the hunt for the spoon that Owen tossed in the hole in the winter.

Yeah, the summer time is a little trickier on Nipissing. There aren't many days when the lake is calm enough for me to get out there.

Yeah, I find I can keep the rod nice and close to the transducer and use it like a flasher. Aside from the challenge of keeping the line away from the outrigger I find that little rod is pretty good for fighting them. Thanks for the good words.
