Day 2 was a bust. Winds never got below 20 mph until 9pm so I spent the afternoon chasing my golf balls around someone's pasture!
This morning the winds were below 5mph so spent most of the morning throwing my topwater popper and jerk baits. I never found any groups of bass....just singles here and there. I finally ran across a group in 9 FOW near a weedline. In total I landed 14 smallmouth and lost 3, including this 5lb 10oz beauty that hit my perch pattern jerk bait.

Those winds on the Bay can mess with a trip! Though an almost 6lbs bass aint bad

Nice going, Lionel! Amazing bass fishing results. Enjoy your stay and fishing and hopefully the weather will cooperate as well.
