Trout is now closed so whitefish are the main target for me now. Went 5 for 8 and my friend got 1 and we released one small trout. The whitefish are not on the bottom right now. They are in the top 15-20ft of the water column over deeper structure and drops around 60fow. Some were swirling on the surface around the boat. No fish were any deeper than 20ft over the deeper water. I could at times see the whitefish as I jigged. Was a great day. May take my son out this afternoon for some fun.

I love hunting those shrooms too. It reminds me of when we were kids.

You kept some fish. Does that mean you are back in your house?

If you like Amirilla sp aka honey mushrooms don’t forget to pick up the Lactarius Thyinos (salmon milk cap). Both flush at the same time.
They bleed orange milk and taste amazing fried.

Still homeless in a tent trailer, and turns out I won’t be able to move back in to my house, so I’m still looking for a place for my family to live long term. I sent the fish with my friend.
