Snuck out for an hour before dinner… to catch my dinner. Fished suspended 30ft down over 50-70 fow. Marked suspended bait and large clouds on the bottom, figured fish should be nearby. Got drenched in the rain but managed to go 2 for 4 and kept one nice eater for dinner. Love it when they still twitch on the bbq.

These fish are getting ready to burst. Anyone know what to do with whitefish roe? I feel bad just wasting it. They look like a size that could be tied to roe bags… or used to chum.

Hi Mykola, Unfortunately not much. I once got WF in the fall with loose roe. Tried fishing them and salting them for food, neither worked well I know in Norway they smoke wf roe when its in sacs and it costs big $$ there. havent tried that.
