World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1333 Member No.: 13075 Joined: January 11, 2017	Awesome! I was out in the weekend and couldn’t buy one fish. I find the stocked lakes open all year are best in October and November (don’t worry the fish aren’t there to reproduce). If you get a freak warm day where the insects come back to life briefly, they will be on the surface and very hungry.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 2019 Member No.: 4572 Joined: August 07, 2013	Thanks guys for all the replies the key i found was looking for the black water bugs on surface and when you seen the bugs school up and moving fast on the water that was where we would cast our lure and bait the fish were in very shallow starting at 2 to 4 feet of water ,
