Erie fun for perch

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 11183 Member No.: 118 Joined: February 11, 2011	Finally found a day to get out with my good buddy and smack some really nice perch on Erie got a late start of about 9 am and we quit at 2.30 as winds were picking up... had to move 3 times to find active fish and game on in 60 plus fow and only minnows worked lost quite a few but still put 60 in the boat and had a great dinner this evening. had a few quads and doubles and this outing was for getting eaters which we did was a great day with lots of laughs and jabs a few pics for you all

ahahaha.....at one time i thought simcoe perch tasted better, but since I did'nt get upthere the Erie perch were fantastic

Yeah, Erie is awesome perch factory and the average size is excellent
I just fished a long point a few times as my boat is small for main lake

ya, you really have to pick a no wind day for sure

more comfortable and easier to stay on the fish. we want to go again, but see nothing but high winds for several days
