Hello again my friends,its been awhile.
Glad to be able to post my annual Crappie hunt.
This year has been a memorable one for sure.
I started my hunt back at the end of April after a surgical procedure to remove a tumor from the nerve in my leg and a month long recovery.( I should have known better than to eat all those fish from Lake O years ago).
Anyhow back to the Crappies,i started shore fishing back in April and caught several decent fish at various local lakes around Orillia.Damn covid rules wouldnt allow me to do much boating until the latter part of May.Targeted mostly Walleye throuout June and then lost use of my boat for almost a month to replace the lower unit gears and clutch.$$$$ Yuk that sucked..
By the time i got use of my boat again it was time to get on to the Crappie hunt starting in early July.
This summer on my off days i would try some new techniques and they would really pay off with some real slabs as the pics will tell.Anyways enough of the boring reading,lots of pix to post,until next time Have a Crappie day!
