Hi Folks,
Headed out to Simcoe for some fall perching with toothhealer88 (Alan). Beautiful weather and lake was perfect. Not too cold to be out and low winds.. Awesome fall day! We caught a good number of perch. Kept a dozen for a meal and released many smaller ones. Good to see lots of boats out and everyone enjoying themselves.. Fish were a bit finicky and we had to scale down presentation to entice the bites. Caught most on a small white tube jig. Fish kept were all bwt 9 to 12 inches..
Had a great time with good company.. Forgot how much fun perching can be..
I might be done boating for the season, as I have some work to do on my outboard and trailer.. Ugh!

Nice going Jerry and Alan! Enjoy your perch fry. Yummy!
Did you launch at Sibbalds and fish the East side?
We were there Saturday as well and likely fished the same area
Yep, the fish was finicky as low winds and pretty sunny so you needed to downsize and slow down your presentation .
Thanks for sharing what worked for you
Launched out of Harry's.. Fished east side and west side of Cooks.. Probably 100 plus boats out there.. Fished near another boat of friends who were there... Had a fun time...
Sooner or later I will probably bump into you guys out there.. lol .. cheers

I see . It would be great to meet on the water , that’s for sure .
Always amazed at Harry’s ability to park 30 trailers in 20 parking spots LOL!
I post some fish porn from the east side to relieve some pressure from the west side

Nice haul JB... Well done
Yup Harry's parking instruction helps to fit them in.
As far as I know he also has the lowest price on Cook's, with good ramp and dock. Where I used to access years ago at the public launch, it's $20 now..
