Guys,

I wanted to do some perch fishing before putting the boat away for the season. Cooksbay I know is too windy tomorrow but will this wind be ok in Barrie? Is Barrie more protected from the wind?

Thanks,

Also planning to fish for perch on Simcoe with kids but not tomorrow - Sunday.
Thinking of launching from Sibbald Point park and fishing the Southern shoreline if the S wind is strong.

Take a look at Windfinder.

This will give you windspeed and direction.

X2 for windfinder. Just a heads up winds gust to 60 plus km.

If you're fishing around the fountain you should be ok. I rely more on Ventusky. For tomorrow morning 8-11 should be fine. Wind

I also use Ventusky. For example, 21KM/H around Cook's Bay at 9:00AM tomorrow Sunday morning
