Fished this afternoon for perch, and got some nice feed of good keeper and jumbo ones.

It was my new kayak (NATIVE WATERCRAFT Slayer Propel 10 MAX with a pedal drive) maiden voyage:-)

On the water it was very very cold and very very windy, and was raining (on and off)...

You are the one James....you got it out already....Good on you bud.......enjoy. That Native craft looks to be more stable than your previous Yak.....Especially with that big square stern.

Thanks Arnie. Yes this kayak is much wider than my previous one, and stays very stable on water. The seat is also much higher on the yak, and feels very comfortable and stable to sit on (for whole day on water I'd say), compared with the seat of my previous kayak which stays low and feels real cheap-). Thanks again.

Nice kayak! where did you buy it? I bought a Hobie Outback a couple years ago.

Nice Fish and Awesome Upgrade. Having your hands free is a game changer. Just sold my 2017 Hobie Pro Angler (PA)12 and picking up my Hobie PA12 360 Drive in the new few weeks.

Would have loved to hunt some more late fall smallies, but the deal will be worth it.

The ice is close but pumped for Zone 17 Spring Pike.

Hats off to you James for braving the cold and wind and enjoying the new watercraft and getting a nice perch haul!

Well done but be mindful of the weather conditions and stay safe out there.

I ordered this kayak with pedal drive (a NATIVE WATERCRAFT Slayer Propel 10 MAX) back in April this year at the kayak dealer "LIVOUTSIDE GEAR & ADVENTURES" in Bracebridge, Muskuka, and waited for almost seven (7) months by the time I finally got it:-)
