I am driving around today at shore spots looking for perch. 60 + kms and NOTHING! Skunkfest. There are people fishing but all the buckets are empty. Anyone getting perch on shore or should I just go home! Not sure whats going on, years ago a day like today could fill a bucket of jumbos easy. Now lucky to see the bobber move. Yikes!

The hot weather for mid Nov and the unstable temps probably has the bait fish moving around and the perch will follow.

I went out last Wednesday and saw fish on the screen everywhere I looked and couldn't get a nibble......At the time it was one of the first frigid nights with a rather nice day so after six hours of nothing I went to the shallows thinking the temps would be changing sooner there and boy were the fish acting totally different.....every drop was a keeper but no jumbos...got 20 in an hour

The patterns certainly seemed different this fall probably due to abnormally warm temps. I caught all my perch in different depths/spots this fall.
