WHERES THE ICE AT BOYS? DESPERATELY SEEKING ICE FOR OPENING DAY ON THE SOUTH SHORE. OR AT THE VERY LEAST FOR OUR 11TH ANNUAL TRIP TO THE NIP ON JANUARY 12TH. ALL I ASKED FOR WAS ICE ON THE NIP FOR CHRISTMAS. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?

I KNOW RIGHT THIS IS THE QUIETEST I HAVE EVER SEEN THIS BOARD. ITS LIKE WE HAVE ALL GIVEN IN TO ALL THIS CRAP. ITS A GOOD THING FATRAP HASN'T BEEN ON HERE. HE WOULD BE GIVING US ALL GREIF FOR BEING SO BORING. LOL AT THIS POINT I WOULD EVEN WELCOME ONE OF THE AGE OLD QUESTIONS THAT USUALLY POP UP AROUND THIS TIME REGARDING WHAT LURES ARE EVERYONE USING BRAIDED VS MONO AUTOMATIC FISHERMAN VS JAWJACKER ANYTHING LOL SORRY BOYS AND GIRLS, GOING A LITTLE CRAZY AT THE THOUGHT OF MISSING OUR FIRST BOOKING FOR OPENING DAY. KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED FOR THE 12TH.

It will be all good for the opener even if you have to walk out. My prediction based on the previous 20 years I have been fishing nipissing is there will be 8 - 10” on the south shore come jan 1st. Positive vibes!

Don’t worry Big Filthy, I live on the west arm of the lake and the ice is a booming tonight. With the next couple of weeks forecast we have one day that gets up to -1, after January 1st the temps really start to drop so I am pretty sure your trip will be goood to go! Cheers.

Good to hear. I watched his live stream this morning and got a little nervous. As much as I know he’s got all the safety gear with him; he was all alone and a long way out (with no battery on his phone) so like I said “good to hear”. Stay safe everyone and thank you Koke for all you do.
