I have a aqua vu mopod and went to get stuff ready for hard water and it’s dead. Changed both batteries in fob and unit. Took head apart no loose wires. Try re sync fob and nothing. Tried turning hook and motor free by hand turning…p##### off ive babied this thing because it’s flimsy plastic and still broke…anyone had this issue or can think of something else I can try?….. Thanks Kevin G

It's been a couple of years since mine was new but the first fob would not sync with the unit. I contacted the company and, after walking through the process with me, they came to the same conclusion and replace the fob. I was happy with their interest to get it working (not assign blame on someone).

Took it over to a neighbor and he figured out it was the power switch. He replaced it and works now. So if it happens to anyone else try switch first

was going to suggest checking the power switch, mine died too, quick and easy to find out with a multimeter and i used a switch i got to build some power boxes, the factory switch is a cheapo
