I showed Cassie. She wants me to buy one and try it for Lakers in the spring lol. Why not, it'll make an interesting YT video lol. I guess the only problem is to see how quickly it sinks. Would take forever for it to sink to 70 ft without help probably. And maybe any extra weight would throw the action off.

Yeah, from the video it seems to sink slowly, I would quickly loose patience when I fish any water deeper than 10'...lol ..... and you're right an extra weight will throw the action, maybe except if you find a way to hang it from the middle/bottom of the lure. The "mini" version might be good for shallower water fishing for a few species.

More toxic waste from china. I hope they illegalize battery powered lures, rusting potentially dangerous garbage in the eco-system IMO.
I think there are bigger problems than a small lure. Compared to other battery-powered disposable electronics such as cellphones, TVs, and electric cars, the effect of a robotic lure in our environment is figuratively a grain of sand on the beach.
However, I do agree if the lure is lost, it will sink to the bottom and could cause some direct pollution to the lake itself. However, every spring I see full huts sunk to the bottom when people fail to get them off the ice in time. And we also typically see a full truck sink as well. I will argue that a truck at or hut at the bottom of the lake does more damage than 100 years of lures.

When you add up all the proverbial bad grains of sand, it does make a difference and we do NOT need this crap in the lakes.

True, but if you want to start looking a small lures, I'm sure the government can look at banning engines over 9.9hp in Simcoe too then We're splitting hairs at this point, but your point is taken and I agree with you.
