So my daughter came home for Christmas and I opened this up from under the tree. I’ve never fished the hard water before. Spent my whole life on Georgian Bay but only by boat. This year we tried our new boat on Simcoe and gained a new appreciation for it. Long story short I’ve been talking about Ice fishing and boom. This is what I got lol. Now all I need is for one of you seasoned pros to take me out to try it lol. I will supply the blind fold so I don’t know the honey holes.

Hey Fish4diner I might just take you up on that lol. Reelinginthebigone. I’ve got the boat but in the winter I just thought I’d join them because you know the saying. I too hate the cold but can’t do much else in the winter. My skiing days are over lol.Electrician’s knees have caught up to me.

I have been fishing LS for years. Willing to help out with locations, methods, safety, entry points etc. to get you started. Long time a forum guy helped me get started so I will return the favor. You have choices for target fish, perch, white fish, or Lakers are what I chase. Let me know your preference. I am not sure yet on this site how allow for private conversations but I will investigate later today. Just an FYI, I move around on ATV, I am not a walker, so unless you have some transportation it might be tough to get to some of the areas... I might suggest you consider using a outfitter to help out in the beginning, there are lots of good ones on the Lake and they can transport you.

I honestly have about 30. Don't ask me why, it just happened. I am happy to also provide any help you need with whitefish/perch on Simcoe. Met a few members on this board that are absolutely wonderful and am happy to pay it forward.

QUOTE (Drew @ Dec 29, 2021 - 01:18 pm)

There’s a TON of lakes this is not true for. Almost every lake in zone 15 is one line, which is the zone north of simcoe.
Not even close to true
