You also need to remind people that we are allowed TWO lines in the water during hard water season….. so they get you 2 rods and reels! Lol
Your first set up and far from the last. If we get a good solid cold season with safe ice…. PM me. We can get out and land something.
There’s a TON of lakes this is not true for. Almost every lake in zone 15 is one line, which is the zone north of simcoe.
I had to do a double take on where I made my post….. yup I am on the Simcoe section of the board.
Why not tell me that there is no ice fishing in Cuba while you so far out off topic to point out something that has nothing to do with Simcoe.
Lots of people fish other lakes and post on the Simcoe board.
You said people can have two lines during hard water, people reading that might think that is for anywhere. Just because it’s a Simcoe board doesn’t mean people just fish there. Lots of new fishers on the board and don’t know the regs. Just helping people out.
Best of luck. It is every bit as addictive as soft water. Maybe not quite as much money on tackle but that is debatable. If I count my 2 sleds it is pretty much a wash. I mostly fish FMZ 11 so at least the ice is usually decent and can typically get 10 weeks or so of reliable hardwater.
