IMO
It sure what you mean by previous glory as I have been fishing Simcoe for 46 years and my father had been for over 60 years and I have to tell you it is just as good and in some ways better from my heart experience. Only change I see is patterns of where the fish are and what they do. I do personally release the big girls over 13” 95% of the time. I do on occasion keep one.

IMO
I agree, just because you can fish to the limit doesnt mean you should. I continually see folks in the Kempenfelt Bay area fill orange home depot buckets to the brim from sunrise to sunset EVERY day in the summer/spring months. SMH......

This is correct (limit of 2 laker and 2 whitefish on Simcoe) if and only if you are a sport fishing license holder (or you are deemed a sport fishing license holder due to under 18, 65 or over, disabled, or a veteran). Else the limit is 1 laker, 1 whitefish on Simcoe:-)
