Whats the ice looking like? Buddy and I are looking to come up this weekend, and wondering if we should bring the sleds or not. Thanks!

Good luck

I bet by the end of the weekend there will be closer to 6 inches all around but as of now, everything is 4-5 which last time I checked isn't quite ready for a sled. Not much snow it's a great time to walk or skate out if there ever was one though.

My plan was head to the cottage tomorrow night, then get the kids up early and head over to Tudhope for some perch. I'm a bit discouraged now reading all the parking issues thread's. I haven't fished Cooch in a few years, is it even worth going if there's no parking? Feel free to Pm if anyone knows a public lot, I don't mind paying, just don't wanna' get towed with 2 kids standing in a parking lot:)

I'm in the same boat - would appreciate info on some legal paid parking west side of Cooch. Cheers.

If i would live in an apartment with a 10 foot ceiling and my neighbors above me would have a party with a 30 or something people constantly banning on the floor, i would be upset and not willing to eat my dinner too.

Were there guys gliding on the skates with sails (sailsurfers)?
Tuesday there were two zooming around fishermen. Fishing sucked for me as well. I wish I brought a hockey stick and a pair of skates to have some fun on the ice
