Glove recommendations

I’ve been using cheap gloves with hot shots in them for the last couple of years and I figured for what I’m paying in hot shots I could buy a good pair that will last longer. Any recommendations of good warm gloves.

Avoid any palms or fingers that have a rubberish material on them.
I once had a nice pair of fleece lined Neoprene gloves nice and warm and waterproof, but I don’t recommend them for ice fishing because I wrecked mine quick by simply touching my auger with wet gloves (on the outside) when I let go of the auger a chunk of the rubber palm stuck to it. So if you get them wet and don’t notice or forget and touch any of your kit that is metal they will be wrecked.
I would recommend a pair of fingerless hobo gloves for when it’s cool/inside a hut with no heat. And I’m with moose1948 deer skin gloves are good for cold/outside conditions.

For me, gloves don’t do it. I need mitts where all my digits are together. I use gloves to preform tasks that require fingers but quickly switched back to mitts.

I use a pair of Head ski gloves I bought from Costco a few years ago. I wasn't sure if they would last, so I picked up a second pair. Still using my first ones. No issues at all. They used to sell them for $25. extremely warm, so don't spend any money on hand warmers now at all. I'm a walker, so warm hands are key for me.
