I'm considering renting a cabin at Tama Kwa Vacationland this coming summer (late June). Has anyone rented a cabin there before? Any reviews on the place would be greatly appreciated.

I believe Nikko, who now also owns Rob's Ice bungalo's which was formerly Rob Hyats is the owner of this place and I have herd great reports on his operations. In fact I believe he ran ice fishing from here for a few years before he bought Robs. Anyway Nikko runs a top notch service and is also a very knowledgeable guide on the lake

Thanks guys. Reservation made for June 27 for 4 nights. I've fished Calander Bay area before, while staying at Sunbeam Bungalows. Quite a nice little resort as well. So I kind of know what to expect for the actual fishing. I only found smallies on the outside of Smith Island around the rocks. I got bit off twice inside of Smith in the reeds (probably by pike) because I don't use leaders. It Should be a fun week!!

Place looks amazing from the water. Don't need to travel far for good fishing.
