Lots of reports from the west side of Cooks Bay just wondering about the East Side like Georgina area. Roches Point if someone has been there. Thanks in advance.

my friend are now fishing there..
he go far inside toward island...
he told every hole is about 5" black ice..

Fished VB this weekend, fishing was good! Ice is 4-5” everywhere I was, some machines out not mine tho.

Not this time but I had a neighbour put a note on my truck and the next day put dog sh!y on my box as well because I didn’t listen to her note lol. I laughed, it’s a good thing I don’t take things too seriously.

Update….. went out at Roches Point (Georgina). Lots of no parking $100 fine signs. Parked on a side street with no signs or issues. Ice was like thick glass. Cracking as you walked out. Once I drilled, it was 4” of clear ice. About 30’ deep. Perch were turned on right just after 9am on Jan 12th. Nothing Jumbo but non stop biting on pinhead minnows. About two dozen fisher people and it seemed everyone caught fish. I landed about 30 with a few biguns’ to take home for a fry. With the mild temperature, reasonably safe ice and the bite was on, it was a good day.
