I'm looking for some foam interlocking tiles to insulate my hut for doing over nighters, to help insulate from the ice.

Does anyone know where I could find any that's cheaper than amazon. (they are a bit more pricey than I thought they would be)

-Also would 12 (1 sq. ft) tiles be enough for my Eskimo fat Fish?

Princess Auto had them for around $15 for 4 tiles... not sure if they have them still but when I was there before holidays they had skids of them.

I use 2 gym floor rolls, theyre 4x8, my hut is 8x8
Cost around $20 each, I precut holes in them. I never used the tiles but I felt like this was easier to roll up and pack on a sled rather than a big stack of the squares. Got them from Canadian Tire. Very light weight aswell. Covers the entire inside of the hut, no exposed ice at all.

If you use foam mats will they not slip on the ice or are these the rubber ones?

they wont move too much if you interlock them all and you have the weight of your camping and fishing gear ontop.

I don’t get the crappy tire flyer so thank you for letting me know! After shopping around I have found this to be the best deal, so that’s what I went with. They are the big 2x2’s so I picked up 3 (4 per pack).
