I wouldn't mess around with holding on to someone's card. That card is the property of the bank and they have some pretty strict rules about finding lost cards. Just call them, report it, and take direction from them to cut it up. They will make arrangements with the cardholder.

LOL, there is no personal pin # on the card. cut it up and trash it, it's just a debit card, the person probably already went to their bank and got a replacement.
