Fishing Skugog, Port Perry side. Spudded our way out to the middle, drilled numerous holes...six inches black ice with just a skim of snow. Ice cleats would have been handy. My girls were entertained by the perch...good family time.

I parked at the public library in port perry and walked north east through the park. The ice was consistent heading towards the red boating marker from there. I didn’t take a step without checking ahead of me.
Company on the ice would be great, let’s make that happen.
I would like to throw a shout out to the fisherman who came across the lake by us tonight…. my kids killed them self’s laughing hearing you belch out the words to Barbie Girl….it was memorable, thank you for that.
