So yesterday I decided to walk out to one of my perch spots and what a burden that was. I took my flip, big buddy heater, 5lbs of propane and everything else I needed to be comfortable for the day. It took me an hour and a lot of sweat and back pain to walk just over 1km before I set up. The fishing wasn't fast or furious but it was somewhat steady with singles or couples coming to play and I managed to take 22 home all close to or over 1lbs each. Needless to say the walk back took 1.5 hours. Today after work I figured it would be OK to hit the whitey grounds with no shelter as the wind didn't seem so bad at the time and temperature was still mild. Well when I got to the lake at 230 it really started howling and snowing to the point where I was being pushed off my chair while sitting on it. Lasted for 90 minutes and ended up getting 2 whitefish. 1 good sized one I kept and another 1.5lbs or so I let swim. I can't believe how cold I got out there today in those 90 minutes even though I was bundled up pretty good. After chopping some wood and firing up the sauna I finally warmed up enough to clean and cook the fish for dinner.

Thanks guys, Frank I need three exercsie for sure. Fishmagnet I used a 10g vibrato this time vs a 1/4oz meegs last outing. Dale the walk sucked so much. I didn't measure the ice but I'd say 7 inches easy.

I'm going to walk 15 more minutes tomorrow. I mark usually but land about 1 out of four times...they came charging in today and then left just as fast. Lol
