Hello again my friends!
Wow! A good day to be on the Laker grounds on a Muskoka lake.
It was crisp, cold and snow covered which made walking on the ice a bit difficult to say the least!
This however worked out to my benefit as i had the whole area to myself discluding the deer crossing the ice and the Bald headed Eagle flying overhead.
After arriving on the Lake after several stops due to the several inches of snow on the ice, i set up my little hut a short distance from shore, thankfully!!! Gasp, Gasp, Gasp! Thank God i gave up them smokes a few years back!
It would have been a bit easier had the buddy of mine not bailed out for the day! Lol However his loss!
On the fishing side of things i managed to land 10 hearty Lake trout and missed a couple others. All fish were caught on my favorite setup, slipfloat tubejig and tubes.
I kept 2 tasty trout for the fry pan which i must say were delicious! Until next time have a Crappie day!
