I figured our last day would be a bust with the cold front moving thru but fishing was pretty good. Our first spot hubby and I both hit a largemouth on the first drift. A couple of more drifts and we had a total of 8 fish in the boat, hubby with 2 largmouth and a 23" pike and I had 2 largies, 1 smallie and 2 perch. I caught another smallie and then ended off the trip with a 27" pike which we kept. We headed in after 2.5 hrs so I could filet the fish and pack up the boat for the ride home.
We had a great holiday and can't wait to get back up there next May.

Thanks Jerry, we will definitely miss the islands until our next visit but we still have the lower Niagara, possibly Georgian Bay (Penetanguishene area) and fall fishing in Sturgeon Lake to look forward to. If possible, I would like to throw in a day on Simcoe but now sure if that will happen. And then hopefully a full season of hard water.
