I've done well on windy days, how about you folks?

My best days are when I'm holding the pop ups walls because my faith in the pegs aren't great. If I was off work I would be fishing.

Well, today (Thursday Feb 10) was quite windy on the lake, and it did help a bit:-)

Actually I fished over 7 hours, and only marked fish one single time, but luckily I landed the fish

Nice whitey. I agree, some of my best days have been windy ones and had decided to fish without the hut even though I had dragged it out.

yes. like me today, I was in hut for 3 hours without marking fish, then fished outside hut in the open and marked a fish in 10 minute, and landed the fish, and that was the only fish marked.

I was on the Lake today too. Was looking for whitefish but after 2 hrs I gave up and moved shallower. For about two hrs I had a blast with some decent size perch and brought home just about a dozen. The wind picked up quite a bit in the afternoon, so called it a day at around 3:00pm. I also fished outside today even though my pop-up was with me.

Great haul of nice perch. I am jealous:-)

Simcoe fish as table fare? Perch is THE best. No question asked....

Hey Dave, bite was tough yesterday for us. Couldn't figure out what they wanted. The perch were super picky, but when a school of herring came in they would hit everything.
