Nice Jumbo Taj! I'm going to see you in a couple of days.

I always find jumbos coming out from Port Bolster ( from Casey's ) 27-30 FOW. Nice sandy bottom and if you find the section that still has green weed.......you got the JUMBOS !

Awesome haul!!

Going out with Taj this Sunday, taking 2 newbies with us.
What was yielding the best results? I'm going to be using perch talkers and slab grabbers, any other input would be great. Need to make a shopping list before heading out lol

Went out with Casey’s today and had non stop action from 8am until 12:30 when I had to go. Didn’t even have time for a pop. I was solo in one of the two man huts. The other solo guy in the hut beside me had the same experience. I started off with a lot of dinks but then got into some good sized keepers. Was hoping for 14 incher but no luck. Still a great day. Unfortunately my 36 second video is too big to attach. After looking back I’m lucky it wasn’t bigger or I would have lost my rod. Great experience thanks Taj! Diamond heads jigs, gold slab grabbers and actually a w30 Williams Wobbler with small minnow did the trick. I couldn’t believe how much they were hitting the wobbler.

Nice jumbo perch!
I always catch jumbo perch going out from Casey's . I buy his minnows and I think his minnows are specially trained for jumbos......LOL..... ......but I have good luck with his trained minnows.....

I did well with glow dart/small jigging rap, though may get some tangles in close proximity...lol
