so im an idiot. lol I posted last week about staying at SSIC but i somehow mixed up the names we are actually staying at South river resort.
so same questions as before. thanks!
We are booked for feb 11 to 13th - 8 man hut
3/8 are newbies....and one has no plans of fishing at all (happy to cook and clean tho!!)
couple questions. does anyone have a "to bring" list for South river? just not 100 percent on whats there. ie plastic cutting board, large pot for an 8 man stew.
Yes i know there is a list on the site but im looking for the little things not mentioned. and for the opinions of previous customers and board members.
also, Is it frowned upon to bring my truck out to the hut? No real need to. just convenient.

Cutting board is a great idea, the huts usually have a good assortment of pots and pans, bring paper plates and bowls they are great so that you don't have many dishes to do. Foil pans are also nice for heating up your food. Doing dishes is tough without the running water, especially for 8 guys. Other things to consider bringing, Extra Toilet paper Paper towel Candle Baby wipes Scrubs in bucket( hand cleaner wipes) Tin foil Air freshener Deck of cards Power bar (if the hut is equipped with generator) Strong magnet( incase someone drops keys or something down a hole) believe me it can happen. Newspaper for cleaning fish.
And bringing your truck out the hut is the best because you can use that space for storage instead of having everything in the hut.
