Hello,

My brother and two friends are heading up in February (twice for 2 nights) and we booked with Fish Bay marina. I was wondering if anyone had any reviews/comments about them? I see quite a few mentions of other outfitters but none with regards to these guys who i found on the sponsors page.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and we are looking forward to this!

We went to fishbay last week for our 5th time. Always a good time. Fishing was pretty steady for the 2 of us. We managed about 25 walleye and a handful of decent perch over the course of 3 days. Ended up with 5 keeper walleye. Huts are decent and I'll say one thing that fishbay has that some others don't, is a generator that powers all the huts. Dont forget to bring some dvds. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I'm hoping to book a 5 man hut with them. If my buddies flake out though I'm thinking of heading up and booking a 2man but for just myself to get away and disconnect for a weekend. Do you know if they would charge for two people if going solo in the 2 man?

We are going up next weekend, we have stayed with them several years now and it is always a great time. Kevin is a great guy and very accommodating. Tight lines

Most outfitters this year are booked up fairly solid for the season. You might be able to swing something mid week but a weekend could be tough. I'm sure they would have to charge for 2 people but you never know, just give them a call.

Not sure if this matters but thought i'd do a small report on our experience after spending 3 days this past weekend at Fish Bay Marina.

- The service was top notch - i was absolutely amazed how often they would send someone to top us op on minnows or if we needed anything.

- The hut was great - there were 4 of us on a five man deluxe and we had everything - power, heat, quite spacious. TV had Roku so we could screen mirror from an iphone.

- the bad: looks like we chose the worst weekend to come up with the cold snap and so the bite was very dismal. We caught 2 pikes (24 and 29 inches) the moment we arrived on friday followed by 2 small perch in the evening. Saturday we caught 1 perch the whole day. Sunday there was nothing until we left at noon. We tried minnows, dinner bell, rattle bait, dead sticks, tip ups outside in different locations with no luck.

We are coming back later this month so hopefully all the stars align!

Quite cool to drive on ice for the first time as well!

how were the other huts doing? We are headed up on the 21st and have never been with this operator before. Our regular place was booked where we have had very good luck over the years.
