The snowmobile ride in is half the fun! I’ll be waving on Thursday morning as we drive another 2.5 hour past Sudbury on our way to camp for a long week end of ice fishing and wiring the cabin for generator power.

Nice video. I really appreciate and enjoy watching you catch brookies.
The packed snowmobile trail leads me to believe others know that spot.
Trail gets packed as there is 12 lakes in that area the video of going into lake is of the main trail i know i have only seen 2 guys on side by side as i lent them my auger that day on opener its a small lake and i rode around looking for spots other have fished and its only showing me where the side by side went . This lake connects to 3 other lakes so others have been crossing it . I also cover up my spot pretty good after fishing and we regularly get flurries at night covering the trail and lake with fine snow dust.
Its a good lake but its not my open water lake i fish in the boat. Average fish size is 16 to 17 inch which is a nice fish and i have caught a few at 21 inch in there over the years.

Kicking the snow over the blood is always always something that gets done while waiting for the snowmobile to warm up before heading home. Cover every last little bit!!!!! Lol
