Hand warmers, Rechargeable

Its not rechargeable but it is refillable... I use a zippo handwarmer, it comes with a little measure cup to put the proper amount of lighter fluid in it so there's no guess work. Easy to use and better than the disposable hand warmers. I usually put mine in the top back part of my bib, and it keeps the chill off.

Hey there Stinkbait.....you're the first I've heard talk about those...I always used the pouches as I could get them from work, but thats not the case anymore. Do they last a full day? I may use one this weekend and try er out.

I have the camo 6 hr handwarmer and it lasts all morning until noon give or take. If you start to smell lighter fluid ur out or about to be out of fuel. If you want a 6 hr and want heat all day you will need to bring a container of lighter fluid to fill it up, or just go with the 12 hr warmer.

I purchased a pair of saviour heated gloves 2 years ago rechargeable lithium battery packs,have never run the battery pack out,having said that never used for more than 5 hours at a time,a little pricey,got mine on amazon 120.00 bucks,worth every penny imo.

as a person with fristbitten hands I have to keep the hands warm. Tried Zippo, rechargeable heaters, and heat packs. Zippo was a waste of money, as soon as it gets too cold outside, it just stopped working. it has to remain warm to keep you warm! The electric one was Ok but would not last more than an hour in your pocket in those -20 days. Now I use a good pair of gloves and put two of those disposable heat packs and it does the job. no experience with the heated gloves but a buddy tried them and happy with them.

I haven't had my zippo stop working, but that being said I like to sight fish so I always use my hut, and most of the time I use a heater... so not the same as just sitting out on the ice in -20 with 17 km winds.
I've always been interested in the heated gloves, socks, and insoles but the high prices and mostly low reviews have kept me away.

From experience, most battery heated gloves are great as long as you have charge. Problem is that once the heater is out of battery, the gloves are not the warmest, and you end up with cold hands. I advise spare set of batteries, or back up warm gloves.
I have bought my wife 2 pairs over the years, and she loves them for the first 3 hours. And yes, by the time we realized the spare batteries requirement, they were discontinued so had to buy a new set. Full charge on highest setting last her 2.5 to 3 hrs. Never tested how long it would last on low.

I have rechargable hand warmer bought from Amazon. It's quite warm and functions as flash light and backup power for cellphone as well. It won't fit in gloves though.
