How do you power your fish finder?, Alternative power...

Mounted in old cheap tackle box bottom part, added flip switch at the back inside to disconnect when wires are plugged - all fishfinders with GPS and maps are draining battery when connected! And battery coated in foam, just to keep it a bit warmer

But how heavy is that power station? It's a bit bulky too (at least for my purposes and walking, etc.) But for sure, you won't have too many days running out of power.

Nice and compact and if you go the route of Xiaolu with the power tool battery, your pack would be much lighter too. The only problem I have (for me that is) is that I tend to get nylon packs/bags wet and sometimes leaving things in the car overnight, freezes solid so I like the plastic boxes kind of set up....but that probably says more about my carelessness with water than anything
