My buddy up North wears these boots and pretty reasonably priced , he claims the best boots he's ever had. Lots of stability and his feet and don't float
around in them.

And with free shipping and returns im ordering 2 pairs and will keep the ones that fit best..

Careful.

Question for the guys wearing Nats…..which boots would you recommend? I’m currently looking to replace my old boots. Thanks

So amazon sent me the wrong boots!

Sent me a pair of Baffin Max control size 13. I dont know why but these boots are awfully uncomfortable in my opinion.

Yes, I am sure they are very warm, but the boots feel heavy and bulky, and there is no flexibility in the soles. I dont see how people can do hikes, like they advertise in their own videos of a guy trekking to go ice fishing lol.

I returned them and will try to give an honest opinion of the Snow Monsters tomorrow.

1530's

I think the only reason anyone wears Baffins for ice fishing is because they've never tried NAT's.

It ain't even close.

So just an update. I got my hands on a pair of Snow Monsters, you need to at least get 1 size up.

I am size 12 and these size 12 will barely fit me in my regular street socks. Comfort wise better than those Max Comforts. but honestly i cant see myself walking more than 2KM and thinking these are the best that Baffins can make? lol

I took the advice of the NATs. Looked online and saw this pair R900s. Each boot is only 1.2lbs?!! looks like a no brainer so I ordered a pair. I hope these will serve my hiking purposes.

Thank you Chuck!

I've had titans for the past 3 years. Coldest I've fished is -35 and my feet were still toasty. They are big and bulky, enough so that my pants can't even fit over, but warmth is the most important thing. I just suck it up and walk, they aren't that bad. I tried to find nats, as I bought a pair for my dad and he loves them, but I was hard bent to find a pair over 14.

After 5 years on Baffin Titan, my knees hurt after each long walk on the ice. so I switched to NAT's 1530 this year, ordered two size up than my normal size, it is very light, not as comfortable fit as Baffin, the material of NAT's looks very cheap compare to Baffin Titan too.

I have been out 3 times with NAT's 1530 so far, it really helped my knees and kept my feet warm around -20.

The time will tell the durability of the NAT's, because the material of it seems a very cheap material. Let's wait and see.
