A bit chilly out today it was a bit of a struggle getting set up, the auger didn’t want to start then the heater didn’t want to either but persistence paid off and I got 11 perch on the ice by 10:00. That’s when the propane ran out and I packed up. Caught them all on an assortment of jigging spoons.

Thanks Dilly. I had to tell myself “this is fun” when I couldn’t feel my finger tips pulling my sled out in the dark. But it wasn’t so bad once I finally got the heater going. Fished in 9FOW and started catching almost instantly. The cold temps don’t seem to slow the fish down at all.
