Back not too many years ago thanks to many volunteers , some great sponsers and the generosity of the town of Innisfil we had two M&Gs at IBP , the town donated our parking N/C , bundled with their "Polar bear dip " the value of the parking and use of the pavilion was close to $1000 ..Thanks Innisfil ... they can be good guys ..
Anyway As fund raising and event organization is in my blood , would like to once again do one for 2022, ...
If this dam virus will cut us some slack perhaps we could have another event ,, perhaps not at IBP but maybe north or at casey,s ( He always welcomes us )
Thinking like March , last events we did fish derby, silent auctions , buy/sell tables, draw prizes, hot lunch , and a whole bunch of BS from our members LOL ..
Guy,s we'll see , but if they increase the numbers for outside gatherings I, m set to go ..

Thanks Dave. And I think I have attended most if not all of the this message board's Meet & Greet (or whatever) including (for what I can remember) at least two times at IBP, one time on Lake Rosseau, one time at Jackson's Point, and one time at Casey's (a buy & sell event),...
So yes, if we can get this M & G this winter, I am all in.
Virus? I see two options for me myself: Lock in at home 24 hours a day and 7 days a week until the virus is over or I die. Or enjoy the life to its fullest extent:-)

Should get some of you guys over at Friday Habour this summer too for some beers and food on the patio. We should pick a day when there is live music and stuff going on. We have some pretty good dock parties too, depending on the day.

Friday Habour ? Sounds very familiar to me. I mean over the soft-water fishing season I keep passing Friday Harbour on my way to BBP (and on my way back home from BBP:-)

Been a part of one of these in the past, and would love to do it again. Met some great guys off this board, and still fish with a few regularly. Hopefully this craps over with/let’s up some wiggle room for events. I’m in!

You've never been to Friday Habour? It's a lot of fun in the summer when they have live music going. The last few years have been "ok" because of COVID restrictions, but they made a new stage and licensed area for this year - it should be wild if COVID can calm down.

James; I agree 100% , MY past while has been tough but I agree , keep on doing what you enjoy and carry on , Virus won,t keep me in a closet , use common sense and enjoy your family and pursuits ..

A meet and great sounds good to me, however, I would suggest if you plan to hold it in March - do it as early as possible cuz if my memory serves me correctly - spring came early last year and anyone who planned to pull their permanent fish hut on the last day encountered problems.

same here as Grampa...would like to attend and one year, I think I nearly did but it didn't happen...I think that was the year it was at Casey's (did it happen and I couldn't attend? could be a bad memory thing, wait what year is this? ). I really would like to attend but new baby may not allow that to happen - no fishing so far and none in the foreseeable next month at least. But will love to see all the photos and what happens...maybe I can help from afar (maybe) so reach out if needed but no guarantees at this time.
