Going to sled out to Fox Island on Friday in search of whitefish & Lakers. Anyone that wants to provide recent experience would be appreciated. PM is fine. Thx.

Good morning,
I am coming down on the 11th for the weekend.
Planning on going after perch likely in Cook's bay, or somewhere between Innisfil and there on Saturday.
Riding out of Sandy point so I was hoping to try and find some whitie/laker grounds Sunday if we have success Saturday. I have a heavier set up and want to rig up a second, and finally have a flasher so I was hoping to sled out somewhere and try my hand at landing a whitefish.
Fox island would be ideal for me so any success I'd love to hear!!
I make at least 1 trip up per year from Chatham to enjoy your amazing fishery and scenery!!
Got some great advice from some folks on here for baits to get/try so I am armed and ready to go lol

I used to fish out near Fox and Snake a lot for whities and lakers, and did well. I haven't fished there for a while now - I moved to the top end of the lake... and it's much closer.
The nice thing about that area is if the whities don't cooperate, you can always change things up and switch to perch.
