Barrie Snow, Kempenfelt Snow Conditions

How’s the weather lookin in Barrie and surrounding areas? Has been calling for snow all day through the night in the city, but has barely snowed at all. Wondering if it’s similar up north.

Was hoping to walk out at kempenfelt if it’s not too deep.

It's been snowing since like 8am and hasn't stopped. Lots of slush, the conditions of the roads are hit or miss. One hour it can be terrible, and another it can be somewhat clear, depending on the frequency of the plows. I had to shovel my driveway at least 3 times today.

I'm certain the ice is trash right now.. probably 2-3 inches of slush on top of it.

When that slush freezes, it's going to make Simcoe ice a bumpy nightmare.

I was out there all day today, a bit slushy but nothing too bad. I walked out with a smitty sled setup and came back to shore at around 4pm and it was fine.

Yeah but it's -4c now. It's gunna freeze and be bumpy.
