so im going to move out the big sleeper hut this week to try a different spot. Usually aim for deeper water 80-100 FOW but want to mix it up this year and am looking for some feedback. I was eying up a spot that is about 50 FOW contoured flat surrounded by moderate tapers to 70-80 FOW. This is in cooks bay area without being too specific. Thoughts on how it sounds for getting into whities and lakers? thanks fellas

Worth a try. As it's a sleeper you can be there at different times of the day easier. You might find different times of the day might produce better than others.

Haven't fished in that area before...Only north of the islands. Could try a day scouting first? I think it used to be better there, way back just like the rest of our fisheries were. GL

Sometimes I wonder if there's fish in some lakes including Simcoe. Even at the cottage one weekend over hundred fish another zero. I have fished snake island on foot, before my Smitty in deep snow, but didn't mark much. Some days mark lots at WB catch nothing then other days mark nothing and catch something. I'm confused. Get out there and catch something, there's fish everywhere! Lmao
