Hello,
For those who have been going out where are you finding whitefish mostly? From the east side, I know Brechin access where people are catching some and it gets busy as well. I did not hear much from the west side, I know Moons beach and Baywood park have had some action.
Most importantly, how's the ice on the west side around Moon's beach area?

It was generally slow last last weekend for me. I marked fish, but they were not interested in eating.
I also have the attention span of a squirrel... so after an hour of looking at inactive marks, I left and hit some perch. (They were hungry! LOL)
Thank for getting back! How was the ice thickness there? (assuming you are referring to moon's beach point)
Cheers
There was a good 10-12" of ice with snow on top. There was a bit of slush forming, but hopefully with these colder nights things will tighten up again.

Thank you! I was worried when I heard a pressure crack opening up 11th at Oro.
I am taking the wife tomorrow for her first time - hopefully, we will land one at the least.
