Fishing on Nosbonsing has been fairly good, considering the cold weather we have been having the past 3 weeks, Mornings and evenings are the best time. We at Birch hill Camp have had half a dozen Walleye over the slot,(43 cm. to 60 cm, have to be released back into the Lake). With all of our guests enjoying themselves. Pike has been a little slow at the beginning of the season, just last week we had over a dozen caught, so we think they are starting to move around a little more. The perch have been up and down, some days producing fish with other days not so many. The Snow cover on the Lake is anywhere from 6 inches to a couple of feet where drifting occurs. Some slush is starting to show up in areas throughout the Lake. Nosbonsing can produce fish, but it can also not, the Lake has a healthy Bait Fish count so, at times when the fish are not biting, they are finding their own source of food from within the Lake. Good Luck Henry
