Hey guys i have heard the parking has changed a end of bbp road. Does anyone know for sure what is happening?

I asked my Brother in law as he lives there.....he told me they were putting pay parking in there.

Bah, that's garbage.

It's a small road end leading to the beach... Why do people care so much? The article quotes that ice fishermen are stopping the residents from using the beach.. in the winter? Come on now.

In the summer I totally get banning boats from trying to launch there, but come on winter? No residents are there in the winter.

Make the effort to open Google maps to the area at the link Map and then check all the roads that are either No Parking anytime or No Parking 1st Nov to May 1St at this link on part 14 page 32 Parking prohibitions.
The whole area is pretty much out of bounds unless you have a resident pass

That's 2020 information, which I am already aware of. I was asking whether anything has changed since, and I know how to use Google Maps

My friend and I were there yesterday. Parking rates at the machine were; $7 per hour, with a $45 max. Read the Innisfil township parking bylaws ( it's a long one) to see where it's legal to park nearby without charge.

I have no idea as I have not went yet....I am not much on walking anymore and to rough for the ATV....so on holding pattern Rey. You will have to scout that out as we go.

And I did Arnie, parking is still the same on BBP Road. Walking however was not easy, not for me at 67 anyway. I still do walk from time to time when I don't feel comfortable taking my ATV out. The ice was only about 6" thick and was covered with water and then another thin layer of ice at the top. So the water was sandwiched between two layers of ice, which makes walking difficult and wet at times. There were also areas with a few inches of snow on top.

I don't know how much has rained and then snowed this last two days but I am sure it will be worse now.

Thanks for the report Rey. My fishing buddy and I are probably going to wait till after Feb 19 and go to a Northern Lake, after family day. Still spending to much on my Hobie Kayak right now.......another $2,500 and I will have all the bells and whistles together and ready to put it all together........the only main component left is the Ulterra trolling motor itself around March hopefully. Also spending a fortune in salmon stuff so ice fishing this year is suffering somewhat.

That's nice Arnie, I am also playing with the idea of a kayak, not quite sure yet but definitely beats towing a 16" fiberglass boat every time I want to go fishing. Would love to see some pics of your setup...
