Giving it another try today Feb 15

Decided to head up to Simcoe to give whitefish and lakers another try.. I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting for pickup. Last Friday was super slow, almost 8 hours and only marked 2 fish and caught 1 perch in 72ft of water..
Fingers crossed the outcome will be better but I do enjoy just being out.

2 marks in the morning then nothing the rest of the day🦨🦨🦨. 4 different huts 1 whitefish.. was a beautiful day to be out none the less.

Wow tough day again Dave. February is always a tough month I find. A couple of my buddies were up yesterday and they also got skunked. Still a bad of fishing is better then a good day of work.

Happens in open soft water too. That's the lake trout way.

At least in open water you can high tail and go catch bass or pike when the trout shut down.
