Well another trip to Simcoe in the books.

As luck would have it my sled steering broke. Ball joint wore down and came disconnected.

Not fixable on the lake. Long story short could only drive in a straight line.

Picked a random spot - and got lucky.

13 FOW between Sandy Cove and 9th line - kept 30 quality perch. Biggest was 14 inches, a few 13's and a whack of 11's and 12's.

Consistent action most of the day. Had a blast despite the sled issues.

Never did get to try for whities but maybe next time.

Tight lines!

Yeah it was a bummer. Big time. Just put a bunch of money into the sled.

But it all worked out - marked it for next time lol

Perhaps!!

We will see next time lol

Could have just been an active day. Not sure how everyone else did Saturday.

Looking on navionics once we got set up it did seem like a good spot - but who can ever really tell lol

Forgot how fun it was to look down the gin clear water and still count their stripes 13 feet down.
