Oh, I don't feel bad. I out fished the other 3 guys, incl Disco, with my 2 mini-trout I think I could count the bites on 1 hand. Also--" a bad day fishing...." y'know

Not that I am aware of. The season is too short to be profitable on that lake. There may be some guides in the area??

I'm heading for March break next Weds. Any new ice thickness at Joes.
Would love to try it Sunday.

Was 15" this past Sunday where I was. Barely any snow on the main lake left after the winds on the weekend.

I'm out right now from Foot's Bay. Entry is good and so is the ice. Cought a few smaller lakers so far but the bite died down now. They're forecasting high winds for tomorrow so it may not be the best day to go out.

With winds I decided to decline on going Sunday. Heading for March break tomorrow for 10 days. Hopefully weather stays cold there I would love to try that area once this year.

Ice update... if you're looking to get on from Foot's Bay it's a no go. The Cove Marina has turned on all the aerators, and it's all open water now.

Kind of a bone-head move I would say

100% a bone head move. The ice was great and no where near going out.
I spoke to a worker at the launch. Someone on a quad went through after the marina turned on their bubblers without anyone knowing. If it was me I would have been looking into a law suit.

Depends on circumstances, here’s the actual Criminal Code of Canada section. It’s often referenced in cottage news & sometimes with insurance.

That's terrible. Just returned from March break and wanted to get out for one day this weekend. How thick is the ice for walking ? Hopefully I can find a safe point to walk from.
