When I was out last there was tons of ice for walking but it was deteriorating fast. It’s been about a week or so and imo I would want a more recent report. Either way bring a spud bar, float suit and take a friend.

We got out on the 04/01 and there was still about 18 inches of ice. Caught 5 lakers. 4 in the 1-2 pound range at around 60 ft. with a blue and silver williams. A decent 26 iincher that was caught on a minnow in 20 ft.
The shore was breaking up but a 10 ft 2x8 helped get over that
